I woke up early in the morning and followed my daily routine up to 9 o'clock. Today I was very excited because I decided to start a new sewing project. Triggering up my sewing machine and making it ready for new projects was always electrifying to me.
 
I started my project with devotion. I discovered that stopping my work to rethread the needle was the most inconvenient thing. Here arises the question of why the sewing machine needle keeps unthreading.
There are several reasons for unthreading needles; a few are discussed below and might be considered worthwhile and may prove a good help.


The sewing machine thread tension could be wrong


Wrong thread tension is the most common mistake, leading the needles to keep unthreading. The thread tension on the upper may be too high or too low, resulting in the needles unthreading. On this point, first, you should find the solution by adjusting the tension in both directions before you move your project forward.

Spool Mismatching

Another primary reason that keeps the thread leaping out from the needle eye is due to a mismatch of spool being used. A wrongly installed spool or incorrect size will never leave the thread in its place. You must confirm the size and installation are correct. This may keep you from threading again and again.

You might not have enough thread, to begin with

Unthreading the needle may cause harm or uneven results in your projects when you begin sewing. It also shows that you don't have enough thread lined up.


The hurdles in the projects may result in giving up, but instead of giving up, you must ensure that you have pulled up a reasonable quantity of thread that is 8 to 17 cm from both ends. After doing so, you may start with ease.

Perhaps a needle issue

A bent or dull needle can cause the thread to break or become unthreaded. Make sure to change your needle regularly and use the appropriate needle for the type of fabric you're sewing.

Machine issues

If your sewing machine is not properly maintained, it can cause issues with thread tension and may cause the needle to become unthreaded.
